Spirit Week

Tuesday 28 October 2008

Brad and Patricia got off this morning. Waking up to the snow was a perfect way to end their visit to Aberdeen. They saw every possible type of weather we could have!! Gale force winds, sunshine, rain, and SNOW! We did manage to get some photos before rushing to train station. They are now en-route to London until Thursday. The sun is shining, so hopefully they will get to see some nice sites along the way! I thoroughly enjoyed their visit and hated to see them go. Now its back to normal around here.

Sunday 26 October 2008

Today was a great day! Sunny in Aberdeen!!! When  it is sunny in Aberdeen, there is no place prettier in the world!! That is only 2 days a year though!! Today was nice. We started by going to church together. Logan was playing drums. He did great of course!! Then we went for a traditional Scottish Sunday  lunch at at neat restaurant, Lairhillock.   Most of us had roast beef with roast potatoes, finished off with 'sticky toffee pudding'!!! YUM!!! We had to go and walk that off, so we headed to Dunnottar castle. It was a beautiful day to explore the castle ruins.

Jimmy spent his day in London going to watch the Saints play!! Of course he had a great time, they WON!! He was much happier than he was last night after watching LSU! :(

Brad and Patricia

Here I go with my first try at this BLOG thing!!! Be patient! I will get it figured out!!

Tonight Brad and Patricia arrive here in Aberdeen to spend the weekend with us. They have been traveling around Europe and are now coming to explore Scotland! Hopefully they will be here around 9:00p our time.  We are excited to  spend lots of time with them! I can already see that we are going to have tons of fun this weekend! Just wish the weather would co-operate. I am afraid they might get to see the REAL Aberdeen weather!!!

We will keep you posted with pictures and blogs!
