Snow is in Aberdeen!

If you haven't heard, we now have snow in Aberdeen!! It is the worst in 16 years is what a local man said yesterday! Go figure!! And I don't like snow. I do like to see the snow falling, but when it disrupts my lifestyle! :)  Staying warm!!!

Hello from Aberdeen! Winter is coming! I think London is shut down for the snow. Thank goodness we don't have that...yet anyway!! So far we have just had mostly sleet!! The last couple of weeks have been really busy around here. Jimmy and I were invited to Edinburgh for a Burn's Dinner aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia.  It was a really special evening. Logan just returned from a week in Nice France.  He went with his French class to study. He stayed in the home of a local lady and her  9 year old daughter. He had a fantastic time. LOVED her teaching him how to make crepes!! He told her that hers was much better than his mother's!! She was so sweet, she sent a crepe pan home with him, along with the recipe and special ingredient!! He really had a great time!! Then yesterday Logan, yes my baby, turned 16!!! I can't believe it!! He is really growing up. We had his birthday party at our house Saturday night. It was a Casino Royal party! We had about 28 kids and 7 adults helping out as dealers! I think they all had a great time. Kids as well as adults!! I am really thankful for the adult helpers...aka  my friends!! They are all very special to me and I could not have done this without them!!!  For Logan's birthday, his best friend, Taylor, came back from Norway to surprise him!! It was a special surprise and Logan was really happy!! Today Jimmy and I celebrate our 24 years together!!! Wow, who would have thought!!!  Luke has moved into his apartment  in Huntsville. He is settling in the new semester and with a  JOB!! Go luke!!  He is doing good. Lance is also back in university. He has 2 semesters and he will be finished!! So hopefully December!! Very proud of him too!! I do really miss them both, but it is nice to see them happy and doing so well!! Now...we are trying to recover from the last couple of weeks. Hope you are have a great week!!
